Description : Terramundi money pots are hand thrown in Italy and hand painted in London. Each money pot comes with a date and desire card and a lucky coin inside. Deluxe 30cm high money pots can hold a small fortune - up to £1000 in mixed silver or £3,000 in mixed gold coins. Money pots have been traditionally used in Italy for over 2000 years. Once the first coin is dropped the money pot must be fed until full. When full it must be smashed whilst making a wish. It is customary to replace the pot and spend money on 'good things' to bring good fortune. Once broken open money pots are sometimes used to house a candle, a plant, sweets or pens. The best way to prize the top off is to get a chisel or back of a hammer, place it inside the money slot and slowly lever upwards until the top pops off.
