I was very impressed with this raclette. Never used one before & spent a huge amount of time looking into all the different makes & reading reviews & asking questions of people who had already purchased this model. I feel that the Granite top is best for cooking nearly everything on . I put a selection of food out: Fillet steak, Chicken, Raw King prawns & Scallops. mixed salami & cheeses, asparagus wrapped in parma ham, mushrooms, peppers, courgettes and obviously a lovely big dish of new potatoes !!! Absolutely everything was perfectly cooked. I found the machine coped very well with everything we cooked on it, and the heat was perfect. I am so pleased we had an overhead fan though, as things do get quite hot and smokey !!! Actually, I am so impressed, that I am considering buying another machine as I feel the machine is only really good for 4 people. I will have just a granite top on the next one though as I think it is hotter and cooks better than the non stick suface. By the...
