Disappointed with the quality
I was looking forward to receiving this clock. I'd been online to Leff Amsterdam where the company emphasised attention to detail and quality. Disappointingly the removable rear cover, a thin plastic disc that clips in to allow access to the quartz movement for battery changing, is ridiculously flimsy and ill fitting. The stainless steel surround was marked, it looked like fingerprints from handling during manufacture or packaging but having been left on the clock for a while did not clean off with the cloth from the service pack. The stainless steel was not nice quality and the clock had a very industrial look. I had anticipated something a bit more elegant and timeless. For the entry price of £49 for this range of clocks I expected something a bit better finished and have returned the clock to Amazon for a refund.
