Perfect for holding carpet to polished wood floor
I used this to fix large silk carpet to polished wood floor. A silk carpet naturally lies flat (so there is no need for a carpet underlay to glue the carpet to the floor pulling out bumps which is what another reviewer seemed to want). The underlay is not thick so the edge of the carpet is not raised. It is just slightly tacky so carpet can be lifted off easily.
