I bought this because it has a lit digital display. Most of the stations I had previously seen have the black on grey LCD display that is not easy to see especially at night. The display is very clear and I can keep an eye on the time while watching a DVD or BD.
The radio reception is not working but I think that is a function of where I want it in the house rather than a fault with the product itself. However, it may also be that the device is setup to receive the European radio signal from Frankfurt rather than the UK one in Cumbria. Manually setting the time is so simple I have not found this a major issue though it does irritate me slightly.
The EU to UK adaptor is chunky and has an 'L'-shape that will make it impossible to use with wall sockets and some x-way multisockets.
