Functional and well built iron
This iron may look very ordinary but the build quality is a notch above Morphy Richards, Tefal et al.
My two main bugbears about irons I have owned to date have been: 1) that the water compartment overflows during filling - even when the water level's not full; and 2) water dripping or leaking onto clothes during ironing (and sometimes causing staining). So far (and I will report back if this changes) this Braun does neither of those things. It copes very well with my work shirts without it constantly having to be on full heat or full steam and doesn't require repeated re-passing - hence less wear and tear on one's beloved threads. The extra large water compartment makes it very easy indeed to see the water level.
There's really not that much else to say about this - it irons clothes, it has no annoying design features, it works! It's a masterpiece of functional design really. I would say it is rather heavy - anyone who does lengthy ironing sessions or who has...
