Cheap foam used makes it difficult to iron on.
Within the first 2 weeks the foam under the main cover warped and has not returned to shape despite several attempts by removing and reshaping/flattening the foam. The board now has a fold n the middle of the ironing area caused by the cheap foam and is not easy to iron on. Brabantia are near the top end of the price range for ironing boards and I expected more than 2 weeks trouble free ironging out of it as a result. As it is slower to iron on than the 30 year old Brabantia it replaced!
