Unfortunately I returned these. The main reason is you can't buy a 16" cord to make hats. I was completely dumbfounded by this as hats are probably the most popular item to knit on circulars. Don't make the mistake of purchasing the 16" for the lace set as although it'll fit, the lace tips are shorter than the bamboo making your circular 20" not 16".
The second reason for return is the thin wire is very flexible, too flexible if using to knit " straight", & twists/curls annoyingly when turning a row, so they really only can be used comfortably for circular knitting.
I have a set of "Denise" circulars & these can be used successfully for straight knitting as well as circular. You can also knit hats on the 16" cord included. They're plastic & I really wanted a bamboo set but in reality the Denise set, for me, is easier to work on than the addi bamboo set.
